The fine print, in plain language

We put real work into the lessons so your child gets a real education. Here is what buying a kit lets you do with them, and what it does not.

Who owns the lessons

All GAMERIFT lessons, projects, wording, diagrams and certificates are our own work, protected by the South African Copyright Act of 1978 and by international copyright. The GAMERIFT name, logo and "Learn. Build. Connect." are our trademarks. The lessons are licensed, not sold.

What your kit includes

What it does not include

Schools, clubs and trainers

We would love you to teach with this, on a licence that is fair to both sides. A classroom licence covers one teacher and their learners, with printable class sets and teacher notes. A site licence covers a whole school. Contact us for pricing. We keep it affordable on purpose.

The honest bit

Our codes and name stamping deter casual sharing, but no technology stops a determined copier, and we would rather spend our time making the lessons excellent than building locks. If you can afford a kit and share the lessons anyway, you are taking from a small South African business trying to teach kids. If you genuinely cannot afford a kit, write to us. We would rather help than lose you.

Your child's projects are theirs

Everything your child builds and codes from our lessons, including their own changes, belongs to them. Show it off, enter it in competitions, put it on a CV. That is the whole point.
