We are GAMERIFT, a game and tech shop in Durban. The store has served South African gamers since 2014, back when it was called The Gaming Lobby. We took it over in 2024, rebranded it GAMERIFT, and kept what mattered: real people who answer their own messages, and thousands of orders shipped without fuss.
The store already sold robot kits and electronics, and they were popular. Parents bought them as gifts. Teachers bought them for class. Kids saved up for them. The kits were good, but the instructions that come with them are usually rough, and people kept messaging us for help getting started.
So we wrote our own lessons. Step by step, in plain language, the way we wished the kits had come. That became our robotics and coding range.
